Time To Get Those Heads Out Of The Doggy Bag

Republicans might want to start thinking about who leads their parade.

Our enemy is now clearly defined. We know who they are: Anybody with a D beside their name. There’s no moderate Democrat or pro-life Democrat. There’s no Blue Dog, lap dog, hot dog, back dog Democrat. If it’s a D, they are the enemy, and they need to be reacted to as such.” -Rush Lambaugh

In a real war not every soldier is a true believer in the cause. But because the enemy’s leadership has such control, and may have them shot if they don’t fight, they will fight and shoot to kill the same as the volunteer. And there is the parallel. Not every Democrat is a true believer in this radical remaking of America (Health Care is step one) but the overwhelming majority have bowed to the far left political pressure in order to save their own political lives.

      Sal,

So I gather from this you are not a big fan of Nancy Pelosi.

It’s not just you, but it would be nice if we could come up with another metaphor for this whole discussion that’s not based on ‘war’. It might make things more productive.

In my own case I’m thinking I could just imagine the Republicans and Tea Party-errs as the crazy uncle I never had…

King George may have thought likewise.
